Veolia included in the DJSI, ranked joint 1st in its industry by S&P Global

Veolia has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World and Europe Indices (DJSI) for the seventh year running. The DJSI distinguish companies with best-in-class sustainability performance.

Veolia ranks joint 1st among the 74 companies in the Multi and Water Utilities industry, with a CSA1 score of 82/1002.

Recognition of Veolia's leadership is based on the S&P Global analysis of 26 environmental, social and governance themes. It highlights Veolia’s ongoing commitments in these areas, commitments rooted in its purpose, and defined in its Impact 2023 strategic program in the form of Veolia’s multifaceted performance targets.

S&P Global assesses companies in 62 industries, analyzing more than 1,000 indicators, and selects the best-in-class in terms of CSR performance. Only 10% of the 2,500 largest companies in the S&P Global Broad Market IndexSM are selected for the DJSI World index, and 20% of the 600 largest European companies in the S&P Global Broad Market IndexSM are selected for the Europe index. In 2023, only four companies from the Multi and Water Utilities industry were included in the DJSI World index, and only two in the DJSI Europe index.
